Designing a brochure for a world class fire and rescue supplier.

THE CHALLENGE

Rosenbauer are the world’s leading manufacturer of fire fighting vehicles. Their UK division wanted a new look and feel for its annual brochure The Telegraph. Whilst their product is super serious, they asked if you could make a fire engine super sexy. Challenge accepted!

 

INSIGHT

There was an incongruence between the look and function of these mechanical monsters and previous print collateral. As a brand, they’re proud of the controlled aggression their products offer. Why would you not reflect this in your marketing materials?

Execution

A glossy A4 brochure was befitting a worldwide brand of this stature. The company gave us permission to go to town on making the vehicles the star. We deployed image enhancement and art production to existing photography to deliver the knockout WOW factor.

The Results

Despite being under severe time constraints, the brochure was delivered in time for a major European tradeshow. In the words of Rosenbauer UK managing director Oli North “The best magazine the group has ever produced!” We’re happy to have set the bar so high.
